Captain Moti started working with boats as a teenager, serving as a sailing instructor teaching beginners how to sail Sunfish sailboats. Since then Captain Moti has had the opportunity take thousands of people boating.
Currently you may find Captain Moti on a 41-foot sailing ketch on the Puget Sound and beyond, a 1926 wooden boat designed like the famous Biloxi shrimp and oyster schooners, or even a 65-foot concrete schooner (Yes, concrete can float!) on Lake Union and Lake Washington.
With Captain Moti being a history buff, you can ask him all sorts of questions about Seattle. He is a proud member and Staff Officer of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. He holds a USCG 50-ton Masters License with a sailing endorsement.
